Well, the possums have moved out - for now.
My theory is that the thirty rainbow lorikeets who have moved in to the Umbrella Tree just off my balcony are making daytime napping impossible. It's a good thing that they're my favourite bird, because they're so noisy! So beautiful though. How is it that anything man-made that uses these colours looks garish, and yet the birds look so pretty?
